Product Information B>
Needless to say, Raspberry PI is powerful enough in most cases, but it is not so good at providing accurate PWM output. You may have tried to control a robotic arm or a hexapod walker using PI, but finally get frustrated due to the limited number of PWM outputs and Servo Jittering. Now you get a new option to bring your ideas to life, let's prepare this useful servo driver for you.
Characteristics
1. Raspberry PI 40PIN standard GPIO extension header, support Raspberry PI series boards, Jetson Nano
2. I2C controlled, using only 2 pins
3. Serper / PWM outputs up to 16 channels, 12-bit resolution for each channel (4096 balance)
4. Integrate 5V regulator, output current up to 3A, can be powered by battery via VIN terminal
5. Standard servo interface, support Common Servo used such as SG90, MG90S, MG996R, etc.
6. Reserved I2C control pin, allows to work with other control boards
7. Comes with development resources and manual (Python examples like Bluetooth/WiFi remote control)
Specifications
1. Power supply: 5V (PI connector) or 6V ~ 12V (VIN terminal)
2. Servo voltage: 5V
3. Logic voltage: 3.3V
4. Driver: PCA9685
5. Control interface: I2C
6. Size: 65mm x 30mm
7. Mounting hole size: 3.0mm
8. Servo supported
This hat can be used to drive minions such as:
- SG90 servo.
- Servo MG90S
- MG996R servo.
