Overview
1. This is a Raspberry Pi LoRa HAT based on SX1268, it covers 433MHz frequency band. It allows data transmission up to 5km via serial port.
2. Using the new generation LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, the communication distance of the module is 5km, it also supports automatic repeating to transmit longer. Other features include Wake on Radio, wireless configuration, carrier detection, communication key and so on.
3. Compared with normal LoRa modules, SX1268 LoRa HAT achieves longer communication distance, faster speed, lower consumption, better security and anti-interference. It is suitable for various applications such as industrial control, smart home, data collection, etc.
Characteristics
1.Standard Raspberry Pi 40PIN GPIO extension header, support Raspberry Pi series boards
2. Built-in CP2102 USB to UART converter, for serial debugging
3. Brings UART control interface, for connecting host boards such as Arduino/STM32
4. 4x LED indicators, easy to check the module status
5. LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, up to 84 signal channels available, longer communication distance, stronger interference resistance
6. Multi-level automatic repeat, suitable for long-range communication, allows multiple networks in the same region
7. Low power consumption features such as deep sleep and Wake on Radio, ideal for battery-powered applications
8. Customizable communication key that will not be recovered, greatly improves the security of user data
9. Support LBT, monitoring the signal channel noise before transmission, greatly improves the success ratio in extreme environments
10. Support RSSI signal strength which indicates, to evaluate the signal quality, network tuning
11. Support wireless parameter configuration, by sending wireless command/data packet, remotely configure or retrieve the module parameter
12. Support fixed point transmission, broadcast, signal channel monitor
13. Comes with development resources and manual (examples for Raspberry Pi / STM32)
